ValidTill ("the App," "we," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the ValidTill app and related support pages that we develop and operate. It explains the types of information that may be processed when you use the App, how that information is used, how it may be shared, your rights, and how to contact us.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Types of Information We Process
1.1 Information you enter
- coupon, gift card, voucher, or merchant name
- expiration date, no-expiry setting, and reminder timing
- amount, balance, face value, or similar value-related information
- notes, link, card number, and sender information
- in-app organization choices such as starred or used status
1.2 Profile and app settings information
- nickname
- language preference
- notification setting
- if you choose an avatar, the image data you select through the system photo picker
1.3 Device-side and system information
- notification authorization status
- system language, time zone, date, and time used for display and reminder scheduling
- record state and timestamps generated by the App, such as created, updated, or used dates
1.4 Widget-related information
If you use the Home Screen widget, the App stores a limited snapshot of active coupon data in a local App Group shared container. This may include coupon name, amount, expiry information, no-expiry status, and starred status, solely to support widget display and refresh.
1.5 Information not uploaded to developer-controlled servers
Unless otherwise expressly stated in a future version, the current version of the App does not upload the coupon content, dates, notes, balances, nickname, avatar, or similar data you enter to developer-controlled servers and does not provide a developer-operated cloud sync service.
Depending on your device settings, local app data may be included in Apple-managed backups, such as iCloud Backup. Such processing is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
2. How We Use Information
- to help you record and organize coupons, gift cards, vouchers, and similar items
- to display active, used, expiring, and expired items
- to schedule and manage local reminder notifications based on your settings
- to support widget display and refresh
- to save profile preferences such as nickname, language, and avatar
- to maintain the normal operation, interface display, compatibility, and security of the App
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may process or disclose limited information only in the following circumstances:
3.1 With your direction or action
For example, when you choose an avatar through the system photo picker, enable notifications, use the Home Screen widget, or contact us using your email app.
3.2 Through necessary Apple system capabilities
The App relies on iOS system capabilities such as local notifications, the system photo picker, local storage, and App Group sharing for widgets. Depending on your device settings, local app data may also be included in Apple-managed backups. Such processing is subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
3.3 As required by law
We may disclose necessary information where required by applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or lawful requests from government authorities.
3.4 To protect rights, interests, or safety
We may take necessary measures in accordance with applicable law to protect the lawful rights, safety, or property of users, the public, us, or third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
- the main content you enter in the App is stored locally on your device
- coupon records are stored in device-local data storage, app settings and profile information may be stored in device-local settings storage, and widget snapshot data is stored in a local App Group shared container
- if Apple-managed device backup is enabled on your device, local app data may fall within the scope of that backup
- we make reasonable efforts to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss, but no method of storage or transmission is absolutely secure
5. Your Rights
5.1 Access and view
You may view the coupon records and profile information available within the App.
5.2 Correct and update
You may modify coupon details and available profile settings within the App, including nickname, language preference, notification setting, and avatar.
5.3 Delete
You may delete individual coupon records within the App. If the relevant data exists only on your local device, deleted records generally cannot be recovered unless a backup copy exists.
5.4 Withdraw permission
You may disable local notifications at any time in your device settings.
